1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how BizzFlo ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information when you visit our website, create a workspace, or use our cloud business management platform (the "Service"). By using BizzFlo, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Who we are

BizzFlo provides software-as-a-service for shops, restaurants, pharmacies, and other businesses in Tanzania and the region. Each customer organization ("Tenant") receives an isolated workspace for POS, inventory, customers, reports, and related modules.

3. Information we collect

Account & workspace data — When you register, we collect business name, owner name, email, phone number, shop type, chosen plan, and authentication credentials (or Google account identifier if you sign in with Google).

Business data you enter — Products, sales, customers, employees, expenses, and other records you store in your workspace belong to your Tenant. We process this data only to provide the Service.

Payment information — Subscription payments are processed by third-party mobile money gateways (such as Azampay or Selcom). We store payment references, amounts, plan, and status — not your full mobile money PIN or card details.

Communications — Support tickets, contact form messages, bulk SMS/email campaign content, and delivery logs when you use those features.

Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, login timestamps, and error logs for security and troubleshooting.

4. How we use information

Provision, maintain, and improve the Service
Authenticate users and enforce role-based access
Process subscriptions, invoices, and renewal reminders
Send transactional emails (welcome, receipts, password reset, support replies)
Deliver SMS or email campaigns you initiate to your customers
Respond to support requests and platform administration
Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents
Comply with applicable law

5. Tenant responsibilities

If you add staff, customers, or suppliers to your workspace, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and process their personal data. You should inform them how their data is used and obtain consent where required by law. BizzFlo acts as a data processor for data you enter; you remain the controller of your business records.

6. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with trusted providers only as needed to operate the Service, including:

Payment gateways — Azampay, Selcom, or other configured providers for subscription billing
SMS providers — e.g. Africa's Talking for bulk SMS and notifications
Email delivery — SMTP or mail services for transactional and campaign email
Google — if you choose "Sign in with Google" for authentication
Hosting & infrastructure — servers and databases that store encrypted and isolated Tenant data

These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and contractual obligations.

7. Data storage & retention

Tenant business data is stored in separate databases per workspace. We retain account and billing records while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and dispute purposes. You may request deletion of your workspace subject to our Terms and applicable law. Backup and log data may persist for a limited time after deletion.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including isolated tenant databases, encrypted connections (HTTPS), role-based access controls, CSRF protection, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use strong passwords and protect your account credentials.

9. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Workspace owners can update most account details in Settings. For other requests, contact us at the email below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Cookies & local storage

We use session cookies to keep you signed in and may use local storage for offline POS functionality. Our marketing site may use basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work if cookies are disabled.

11. Children

BizzFlo is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
